EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

City of Los Angeles voters approved Measure JJJ in November 2016, which added provisions to the City’s municipal code to require developers of certain residential projects to either provide affordable units or pay an in – lieu fee. Per the requirements of Measure JJJ, this study identifies the affordability g ap s for rental and for – sale units. This executive summary provides a brief overview of the methodology used for this study , which is described in further detail in the full report, and the rental and fo r – sale affordability gaps.
