Report from the Department of City Planning relative to amending the Fiscal Year (FY) 22-23 Proposed Budget to provide nine-months funding and resolution authority for one Senior City Planner, two City Planners, and four City Planning Associates to audit, update, and implement environmental justice policies and programs; amending the FY 22-23 Proposed Budget to provide funding for contractual services to support public engagement and fund community partners as part of a robust outreach effort and to advance work on a Climate Vulnerability Assessment, in partnership with the Climate Emergency Mobilization Office (CEMO) and the Emergency Management Department (EMD); and amending the Mayor’s 2022-23 Proposed Budget to provide funding to the EMD for staffing costs to support the work on the Climate Vulnerability Assessment.
