Code Enforcement Fees

C.F. 14-0600-S14

In May 2014, City Council instructed the Department of Building and Safety to report to the Planning Committee on code enforcement for special cases that require extra resources, especially when identified by Council Offices as a growing community nuisance issue.  This is pursuant to adoption of the Mayor’s 2014-15 Budget on May 21,2014.

On July 1, 2014, City Council sent to Planning and Land Use Management Committee the City Attorney report R14-0298, dated June 27, 2014, relative to a draft ordinance amending the  Municipal Code to reflect an increase in non-compliance inspection fees for buildings, other structures, open uses, signs, licenses and equipment.
